Arbor Christian Academy began as a dream of the community of San Francisco de Macorís fourteen years ago. This group desired to open a school that provided both a quality Christian education and a thorough knowledge of the English language. Additionally, they wanted a school that would follow American curriculum and standards so that students would be prepared academically to enter our global world and become leaders in their communities. For the past seven years, American educators Jessica Moulding and Ellen Kujawski from TeachBeyond have worked with this community to make the dream a reality.

After running for two years as a preschool and English center, Arbor Christian Academy opened as a legal primary school August of 2017. Initially, student enrollment was for PreK 3, PreK 4, Kindergarten and First Grade students (ages 3-6). Each consecutive school year, ACA opened one additional grade level. Currently we offer classes for students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
